Follow the light into the hollow
Small-lot wines from vines grown under the live oaks, made where the river mist settles every morning.
The legendLong before the vines, the ferrymen on the Ashwater told of a lantern in the hollow.
The springIt drifted between the oaks at dusk. Those who followed it found cold water under the roots.
The vinesThose who stayed found the soil. We planted where the light led.
Four wines from the hollow
Grapes that love Lowcountry heat and humidity, picked by hand and bottled on the property. Tap a bottle to read about it.

Mistlight
Lime blossom, white peach and a faintly salty finish that tastes like the coast an hour east.

Vines among the oaks
Six acres in a clearing ringed by live oaks that are older than the state line. The canopy holds the river mist over the rows each morning, and the fruit ripens slowly in the filtered light.
We grow the grapes that thrive in Lowcountry summers: Blanc du Bois, Chambourcin, Lenoir and bronze muscadine.
